Words will never be able to describe, what the heart really feels,
For the heart has it’s own language.that no one really understands,
the heart can feel so much love, but at the same time it can kill,
this is the certain type of language, that sometime causes strands
The heart is like a ball, and it bounces around our feelings we hold deep within
We pass those feelings to others we encounter, but at times we get greedy
Holding them deep inside, which eventually shows on our face, shallow and dim,
Sometime the heart has us laughing, crying, shouting, or feeling a little needy.
Why is it so hard for us to express our feelings for that special someone?,
Why must we just bottle them up, in our little genie bottle, , most of the time?,
Are we so afraid of the outcome releasing those feelings held so long under the sun,
To that special person it was meant for anyways, who we think is so sweet and kind,
How easy it is to show our feelings of hurt, anger, bitterness, or hatred, anytime,
Never worried about who is hurt, or damaged, from feelings held deep within,
Our heart is a sponge, absorbing every feeling like water, time after time,
We need to realize, that feelings held for so long can also cause us to sin.
We are always running off different emotions, never knowing when to stop,
Our heart is like a freight train, pumping our feelings out like a wild fire,
These feelings are spread out like eagles wings, waiting to be dropped,
Sometimes they are full of love, lust or simply wild desire.
The heart is the strongest muscle in the body, and never complains,
It just takes what is fed to it, and continues to pump and pop,
Too bad we are not built that way, with all our aches and pains,
Never realizing that one day this muscle will die and finally stop.
